Do i use the whole Webster's dictionary Definition in an essay?

I wrote any essay on an essay that was one woman's description of poverty. I thought the essay could of used a lil more style, so i decided to use a the Webster's dictionary, but now I'm stuck do i use the whole def. or part of it?Do i use the whole Webster's dictionary Definition in an essay?
you can just use part of it. Use direct quotations. Don't forget to put it in the references.;)

Depends on your audience/teacher; most teachers think that if you use the whole def. for no reason at all that you're just trying to pad the paper and some of them get testy about this.
